Penzance - I wanted to stay in a B+B by the sea and I found a 200 year old light and airy place I never wanted to leave. I learned later that the owner, a former
academic librarian, must approach house decor and how the place is organized in a way that is soothing to my brain. In WWII a German bomber accidentally dropped a bomb in all the backyards behind this house on his way to Plymouth so they were interesting and all different. You can see St. Michael's Mount in several of the pictures and the Sea Rescue so that Penzance could be helpful if there was a maritime disaster. You could smell the sea air and it was invigorating to stroll through the streets.
